So clearly a lot has been happening in Iran, and I (like any chairborne infantry revolutionary) have lots to say about it all.
However, I'm not quite sure where to begin at the moment, it's well into the process and is (for lack of a better word) fascinating to watch, desperate to help but impotent in the face of the realities of the situation. In D.C. the same struggle with how to balance a like minded rhetorical support for any action of "the people" and to avoid undermining the legitimacy of the movement with interference from the great satan has led to a likewise...interesting situation. To sum it up I present capitol hill as presented by Leeroy Jenkins:
Obama: "OK, we need to think this through. Hillary, you get in contact with the Swiss Embassy and see what information we can get regarding the situation on the ground. Gibbs, stall for time with the press while we work out an official statement. I'll contact Gordon Brown to discuss-"
GOP: "JOOOOOOOOOOOOOHN MCCAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN!"
Obama: "... ah, son of a-"
